Software Engineer eCommerce

As a skilled Software Engineer in the global eCommerce product team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable eCommerce services using Java and Spring Boot. Your role will involve building and managing cloud-native infrastructure with Terraform on AWS, setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and participating in all Scrum ceremonies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions that prioritize performance, availability, and user experience. You must have at least 4 years of experience in backend development using Java, a strong command of Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs, and proven experience working on AWS cloud platforms. Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or similar tools), proficiency with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools, and a good understanding of RDBMS/NoSQL databases and distributed systems are essential. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are also required. It would be beneficial if you have experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), familiarity with observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus), and exposure to headless commerce or composable commerce architecture.
