Applications are invited for a CRS Project Fellow under projects funded by UGC-DAE CSR Govt. of India as per the details given below. 1. Project title: 'Synthesis of tungsten oxide doped borosilicate glasses for NIR shielding application”. 2. 'Principle investigator: Dr. Charu Lata Dube; Pricipal collaborator: Dr. Debalaya Sarker Project duration: 1 Year (Extendable to two more year, subject to review of the work done by the candidate). Funding agency: UGC-DAE CSR Fellowship: ₹14,000/- pm + HRA (as sanctioned by funding agency) Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks in the Chemistry; M.E. / M. Tech. (not earlier than 3 years) 1st Class (for Engineering). Desired: Experience in executing and planning glass synthesis (b) Sound knowledge about glass making and NIR shielding (c) The candidate is expected to have some experience in handling of high temperature furnaces (more than 14000C) research (d) Project related documentation work. The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis initially for a period of one year. 2. Appointment may be extended depending on the satisfactory work performance as assessed by the project head or till the validity of the project, or whichever is earliest. 3. The selected candidate will directly report to the Principal Investigator regarding his/her work progress and project related matters. 4. The services will be required 5 days a week as per the University rules and also on the weekends, if deemed necessary. 5. In addition to the regular work, the selected candidate will have to perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the PI related to the project. 6.
