Project Fellow

As a Project Fellow at Amity Institute of Forestry and Wildlife (AIFW), your role will involve conducting field surveys and camera trapping in selected wildlife habitats. You will also be responsible for assisting in data collection, entry, and analysis, as well as supporting awareness and stakeholder engagement programs. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare technical reports and contribute to publications related to the project "Where is the Woolly Gliding Squirrel Looking for evidences at the fine scale in India" sponsored by The Mohammad Bin Zayed Species Conservation fund. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct field surveys and camera trapping in selected wildlife habitats. - Assist in data collection, entry, and analysis. - Support awareness and stakeholder engagement programs. - Prepare technical reports and contribute to publications. Qualifications Required: - M.Sc. in Wildlife Science / Zoology / Environmental Science / Forestry. - Prior experience in Himalayan terrain fieldwork, nocturnal surveys, camera trapping, GIS mapping, and community surveys. - Good communication and writing skills. Having good language skills in Hindi will be an advantage.
