As a Project Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning and Design Assist in the development and preparation of project schedules, scope documents, and technical specifications for all phases of the project. Provide technical input during the design and engineering phase , ensuring compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and industry standards. Coordinate with engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues, providing solutions to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the project. Co-ordinate key reviews such as Hazop, Model review etc. Assist Project Manager in developing Project Execution Plans, procedures, progress reporting etc. 2. Procurement and Vendor Management Assist in the procurement process, ensuring that materials, equipment, and services are sourced on time and in line with project specifications. Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate vendor proposals, ensure compliance with technical requirements, and negotiate delivery schedules. Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring performance standards, quality, and adherence to project timelines. Ensure proper tracking of procurement actions such as requisition, release, Technical queries, Technical evaluations etc and expedite. with Engineers and vendors for timely completion 3. Construction and Execution Support the construction phase by ensuring that the project is executed in accordance with the design specifications and project timelines. Assist the Project Manager in ensuring that construction activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of daily operations on-site. 4. Technical Support and Quality Assurance Provide technical assistance to project teams through engineering managers/ Project Engineering managers to ensure timely troubleshooting of technical issues that arise during the design, procurement, or construction stages.
