Project Engineer- FEA

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer- FEA, to join the Electrification team with strong expertise in FEA and vibration Analysis like Battery pack, lifting hook and EV infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in contributing to the new product development.
- Extensive knowledge in Ansys pre-processing includes mesh sensitivity, FE-integration, deck debugging and post processing of results.
- Sound knowledge specifically in debugging convergence problems and solution metrics.
- Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of concepts relating to material modelling, failure mechanisms, fatigue characterization with and without CZM and nonlinear modelling.
- Hands-on experience with random vibration analysis, PSD and FSD graphs, transfer functions, countermeasure proposal, fatigue life/damage estimation, eigen analysis, modal superposition method using SSD and response function graphs.
- Good ability in Ansys to understand and perform transient shock analysis, projectile and drop scenarios (LS-dyna).
- Basic knowledge of thermal stress (Multiphysics) and concepts revolving Ansys CFD.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Ansys structural with a focus on statics and vibrations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical/automobile engineering.
- Must have good Grades in a Bachelor's/Master’s.
- Research experience is optional but nice to have.
Knowledge Requirement:
- Presenting work with confidence backed by strong analysis metrics.
- Have a great attitude towards learning new analysis techniques and concepts.
- Should take accountability on the work done which involves initiating meetings with designers.
Personality Requirement:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Flexible.
- Enthusiastic, positive minded and able to work well in an international client environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
