About the Role

Project Engineer/Proposal Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop

  process designs

  for STP, ETP, and WTP plants and obtain approval from the Operations Head.
• Prepare

  PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), P&IDs, GA drawings, and site-specific layouts

  using AutoCAD.
• Draft

  equipment specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation

  .
• Prepare

  costing, BOQs, and techno-commercial proposals

  .
• Collaborate with Operations Head and Project teams to ensure feasibility of designs.
• Provide technical clarifications and explain drawings to installation teams and clients.
• Participate in client-facing technical discussions and presentations as required.
• Ensure designs align with industry practices; knowledge of CPCB norms/BIS codes/ISO standards is an advantage.
• Occasional site visits for data collection or client meetings when required.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in

  water/wastewater treatment plant design (STP/ETP/WTP)

  .
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD

  and preparation of technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing roles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple proposals/projects.
• Knowledge of CPCB, BIS, and ISO standards is preferred.
