Description
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Project Director to lead our team in designing and executing mixed-use development projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have 20-25 years of experience in design and engineering, with at least 5 years in domain-specific lead roles. ### Roles and Responsibility Lead the design and engineering strategy for mixed-use developments, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and sustainability. Implement design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure project viability. Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural, mechanical, electrical, and structural designs. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on design goals and objectives. Manage design reviews to ensure project viability and compliance with regulatory codes and standards. Incorporate energy-efficient technologies and sustainable design principles into project development. Provide leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and technical specialists. Evaluate emerging trends in mixed-use development design and engineering to maintain a competitive edge. Ensure successful completion of engineering milestones within time, budget, and quality parameters. Develop and implement innovative, energy-efficient design solutions. Attain relevant certifications (e.g., Tier III/IV, LEED Gold/Platinum). Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills with problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities. ### Job Requirements Strong knowledge of RCC and structural steel buildings, pre-cast, electrical, mechanical, landscapes, building interiors, etc. Proven track record of managing end-to-end design for large-scale mixed-use developments, including commercial Real Estate and Industrial warehousing. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements. Practical approach to solving issues and complex problems, delivering insightful and practical solutions. Agile, curious, mindful, and able to sustain positive energy, adaptable and creative in approach. Certification such as PMP or equivalent is preferable. Familiarity with sustainability certifications like LEED or IGBC Green Building Certification. Familiarity with industry codes and standards, including NBC, ASHRAE, NEC, and NFPA.
