About The Role:

The University of Western Australia (UWA) seeks a strategic and experienced Project Director to lead its India Operations. This full-time role involves establishing UWA’s India campuses, managing strategic partnerships, overseeing regulatory compliance, and ensuring efficient daily operations. Reporting to the Director, Global Growth and Advocacy, the position requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and deep understanding of international education and South Asian markets. The role demands travel across South Asia and annual visits to Australia. Candidates must have relevant tertiary qualifications, stakeholder engagement experience, and the ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.


About The Office -

The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Global Engagement leads initiatives focused on achievement of global engagement, transnational education and the internationalization strategy. The team works collaboratively across the University to progress global strategy and projects, global partnerships, global advocacy, developing and supporting global relationships with key stakeholders, such as government and industry leaders. It establishes strategic partnerships, transnational education programs, identifies global opportunities for Client and maintains strong relationships with global education, research, public and private sector organizations worldwide.
