Project Coordinator - IT

As a Project Coordinator at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting project managers in planning and scheduling IT projects, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables. - Coordinating project activities, resources, and information across technical and business teams. - Tracking project progress, monitoring deadlines, and escalating potential risks or delays. - Preparing and maintaining project documentation such as project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. - Serving as a point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication. - Supporting software implementation, training, and induction activities. - Coordinating with vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teams for timely task delivery. - Assisting in monitoring budgets, resource allocation, and project expenditures. - Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and client requirements. - Providing administrative support for project governance, audits, and reviews. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Management Officer (PMO) in IT projects. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, or MS Project. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Basic understanding of IT systems, software development life cycle (SDLC), and implementation processes. - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
