Project Coordinator

The Project Engineer is responsible for the technical management and successful execution of interior fit-out projects. You will ensure that all site activities align with approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations, while serving as the primary technical point of contact for architects, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Planning & Review:
• Interpret and analyze architectural drawings, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) plans, and project specifications.
• Prepare and review Shop Drawings and Material Submittals to ensure they meet the design intent and client requirements.
• Identify potential design conflicts early and propose value-engineering or technical solutions.
• Site Execution & Supervision:
• Supervise daily on-site work, ensuring that finishes (joinery, flooring, partitions, etc.) are executed to the highest quality.
• Coordinate with MEP subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of services with the interior design.
• Conduct regular site inspections and verify that work is progressing according to the Project Schedule.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs (Request for Information), Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), and site diaries.
• Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and verifying contractor invoices/measurements.
• Manage the "As-Built" drawing process at the completion of the project.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure all on-site activities comply with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and Health & Safety (HSE) standards.
• Manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures to minimize rework.

Required Skills & Qualifications

CategoryRequirementsEducation : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.

Experience :3–5 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out or Commercial Contracting.

Software : Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience with MS Project, Revit, or SketchUp is a plus.

Technical : Strong knowledge of interior materials (wood, glass, metal, fabrics) and MEP coordination.

Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple vendors under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
