Founded in 2010, Youth Organization in Defence of Animals (YODA) is a registered charity based in Mumbai committed to improving human-animal coexistence. YODA provides prompt medical aid to abandoned and injured animals, offers behavioral rehabilitation for distressed animals, and shelters them until they are fit for adoption or release. The organization actively works on vaccination and sterilization programs for stray animals to minimize population growth and control diseases such as rabies. YODA also focuses on spreading education and awareness to foster a cruelty-free approach toward animals and encourage compassion.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Coordination & Admin professional located in Sanguem. The individual will oversee administrative tasks, coordinate project activities, ensure efficient communication within the organization, maintain financial records, and handle external communications with stakeholders and service providers. The role also involves supporting program execution, tracking timelines, and ensuring successful project outcomes in alignment with YODA's mission.

Salary - Rs. 20,000-35,000

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, including effective verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to ride bike or drive car (valid license)
• High energy & passionate about animal welfare
• Proficiency in Analytical Skills to assess data and track project outcomes
• Experience in Administrative Assistance and coordination to manage organizational tasks and schedules efficiently
• Basic understanding or experience in Finance, such as budget tracking and expense reporting
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively
• Passion for animal welfare and alignment with the mission of YODA
