Project Associate

As a Project Associate for the Eco Village initiatives at Hare Krishna Movement in Visakhapatnam, your role will involve assisting in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure alignment with CSR objectives. Your responsibilities will include fostering strong relationships with local communities, providing support through various agricultural initiatives, utilizing core agricultural knowledge to guide project activities, collecting and analyzing project-related data, preparing reports for management and stakeholders, conducting training sessions and workshops for community members, and traveling extensively within Andhra Pradesh and surrounding areas to monitor project progress. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring to align with CSR objectives - Foster strong relationships with local communities and provide support through agricultural initiatives - Utilize core agricultural knowledge to guide project activities - Collect and analyze project-related data, prepare reports for management and stakeholders - Conduct training sessions and workshops for community members to enhance agricultural skills - Travel extensively within Andhra Pradesh and surrounding areas to monitor project progress and engage with local communities Qualifications Required: - Minimum B.Sc. in Agriculture - At least 2 years of relevant experience in agriculture and community-based projects - Strong understanding of agricultural practices and sustainability - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Telugu and English - Good with community interaction and capacity building - Proficient in using a laptop for data collection, reporting, and communication - Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license - Must possess a personal laptop - Willingness to travel frequently within the field - Proven experience in tree plantation, agroforestry, or forestry projects (preferred) - Degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Environmental Sciences (preferred) - Strong leadership and project management skills - Ability to work with local communities and field supervisors - Passionate about green projects and connected deeply with the environment Please note: Industry Type - NGO / Social Services / Industry Associations Employment Type - Full Time, Permanent Education - Any Graduate (UG), Any Postgraduate (PG) Job Types - Full-time, Permanent Work Location - In person,
