Description
As a Professional Services Operations Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in partnering with Professional Services leadership to streamline processes, manage tools, operationalize the business strategy, guide data-driven decisions, and optimize for growth. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee and optimize the tools and systems used by the Professional Services team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. - Develop and standardize Professional Services processes for consistency and scalability. - Track and monitor key professional services metrics such as utilization, bookings, attach rates, and revenue. Provide analytical insights and drive recommendations for improvements. - Own the bookings and revenue forecasting process, optimizing for higher levels of forecasting accuracy. - Create and maintain documentation, collaborating cross-functionally on improvements. - Lead the compensation process, designing and maintaining compensation plans, and working with Finance on design and execution. - Establish success metrics and definitions across the Professional Services team and create necessary reporting and dashboards for team members. - Be a trusted partner to the Professional Services Leadership by defining, tracking, and implementing goals, programs, and strategies for scalability. - Provide suggestions for business processes to adapt to changes in the organization. - Act as a subject matter expert for the Professional Services team on all processes related to services such as utilization, time entry, project management processes, and customer billing. - Partner with Revenue, Salesforce Operations team, and internal stakeholders to review and launch updates to the Professional Services portfolio of offerings supporting long-term business goals. - Provide guidance and oversight to PSOPs analysts. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 4 years in a Professional Services Operations role at a technology company, with experience in designing workflows and implementing systems. - Strong understanding of paid services/implementation lifecycle. - Salesforce familiarity is a must. - Proficiency and experience with Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools such as Certinia. - Expert analytical and reporting skills to identify trends and insights using data. - Excellent organizational and project management skills, including meeting deadlines and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. - Strong program management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to analyze ambiguous problems, break them down into manageable components, and devise optimal solutions. - Strong work ethic, desire to learn, and a drive for excellence. - Collaborative mindset for working across peers, business partners, and leadership. - Clear, concise, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate the right level of information to executives and cross-functional teams. - Proactive self-starter, identifying areas for improvement and executing initiatives to drive impact to the business.
