Job Description

Monitor and maintain production environments for application stability and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Develop and maintain scripts to automate monitoring and support tasks.
Coordinate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
Participate in release and deployment support.
Document processes, known issues, and solutions in knowledge base systems.
Support incident, change, and problem management processes.
Provide on-call support as per rotation schedule.

Required Skills

:

Strong experience in Java/J2EE
debugging and performance tuning.
Proficient in
Linux/Unix
commands, shell scripting, and system monitoring.
Good working knowledge of
SQL (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
ability to write complex queries and analyze data.
Familiar with application servers like
Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss
.
Understanding of logs (application/system) for troubleshooting.
Experience with
incident and ticket management tools
like ServiceNow, JIRA, or Remedy.
Familiarity with
ITIL processes
is a plus
