Role Overview

This role requires the ability to manage people, processes, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards during shifts.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be from a mechanical, electrical, or food technology background and will have 25 years of hands-on experience in production or plant operations. This role requires the ability to manage people, processes, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards during shifts.

What Youll Do

Supervise and manage all production activities during the assigned shift

Ensure smooth functioning of manufacturing processes with minimum downtime

Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and stores teams to maintain productivity targets

Monitor production KPIs and implement improvements to increase efficiency

Maintain documentation for shift-wise production, manpower allocation, and incidents

Train and guide operators and technicians on SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards

Conduct shift handovers and ensure continuity between shifts

Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory norms in the plant

Qualifications

B.Tech or BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Food Technology

25 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setup

Good understanding of production processes, machine operations, and shift planning

Strong leadership and communication skills to manage floor teams effectively

Working knowledge of manufacturing KPIs and lean practices

Ability to troubleshoot production issues and take timely corrective actions

Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office tools is a plus
