Production Planning and Inventory Control Executive

Job Description: As a Production Scheduler, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain a dynamic production schedule to efficiently meet customer demands. You will collaborate closely with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure a seamless workflow and timely delivery. Your role will also involve evaluating and optimizing production capacities, identifying potential production challenges, and developing contingency plans to mitigate risks. Effective communication with relevant departments, strict adherence to quality standards and safety regulations, and continuous improvement of processes will be key aspects of your job. Additionally, you will manage lead times for raw materials, production, and delivery, collaborate with sales teams, maintain accurate production records, monitor inventory levels, and address production-related issues promptly. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain a dynamic production schedule - Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams - Evaluate and optimize production capacities - Identify potential production challenges and develop contingency plans - Maintain open and effective communication with relevant departments - Implement and monitor process improvements - Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and production guidelines - Manage lead times for raw materials, production, and delivery - Coordinate with sales teams to align production plans with accurate sales forecasts - Maintain accurate production records and inventory levels - Address and resolve production-related issues promptly - Monitor production costs and implement cost-effective methods Qualifications and Skills: - Any degree in a relevant field - 5+ years experience in production planning within the Cosmetics or Pharmaceuticals Industry - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Familiarity with ERP systems, creating SOPs, maintaining reports like BMR, MIS, etc., and production planning tools Company Benefits: - Food provided - Health insurance - Leave encashment - Provident Fund Please note that the job is full-time and permanent with day shift schedule and yearly bonus.
