Production Planner

The Production Planner (Machine Production Analysis) is responsible for planning, scheduling, and optimizing machine-based production activities to ensure efficient workflow, maximum equipment utilization, and on-time delivery of products. This role analyzes machine capacity, production data, and resource requirements to create accurate schedules and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer demand, available capacity, and material readiness.
• Analyze machine capacity and load to allocate work efficiently and avoid bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure schedules are realistic and achievable.
• Monitor and adjust schedules based on changing priorities, machine downtime, or material shortages.

Machine Production Analysis

• Review machine performance data (cycle times, setup times, downtime) to improve scheduling accuracy.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for delays and inefficiencies related to machine operations.
• Identify opportunities to increase machine utilization and reduce idle time.
• Work with maintenance teams to incorporate preventive maintenance windows into schedules with minimal impact.
