Production Manager- Textiles

As a Production Planning and Scheduling professional, your primary responsibility will be to create and manage production schedules efficiently to meet deadlines while optimizing resource allocation and ensuring quality control. You will need to coordinate with various stakeholders to negotiate with vendors for competitive prices, ensure timely delivery of materials, and manage personnel required for production activities. In this role, you will supervise and motivate subordinate staff members, provide guidance and training as needed, and maintain a safe working environment. Additionally, monitoring production costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, and collaborating with departments such as design, outsourcing, and purchasing to ensure smooth operations will be essential aspects of your job. Your expertise in managing complex production schedules, coordinating activities across different functions, and overseeing inventory management processes will be crucial. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, managing inventory flow, and maintaining optimal product availability to meet customer demand. Furthermore, your role will involve preparing production reports, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and leveraging production management software and tools effectively. It is essential that you have a background in the textile industry, specifically in weaving, dyeing, and embroidery processes, to excel in this position. The working hours for this full-time position are from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with a day shift schedule. The job location is in Udhna, Surat. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a textile unit. Being physically present at the work location is required for this role.,
