Production Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet business targets.
  
• Oversee end-to-end production processes including

  bottling, filling, capping, labeling, and packaging lines.

• Ensure adherence to

  quality standards, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Monitor and control production costs, wastage, and downtime.
  
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth operations.
  
• Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and utilities for uninterrupted production.
  
• Implement productivity improvement initiatives such as

  Lean, Kaizen, and TPM.

• Maintain strict compliance with

  FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, and other food safety standards.

• Lead, train, and motivate the production workforce for optimum performance.
  
• Prepare production reports, efficiency metrics (OEE), and maintain documentation for audits.
  
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed on the production floor.
  
• Support new product trials and process improvement projects.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of beverage production equipment and processes (mixing, carbonation, bottling, packaging).
  
• Experience in handling

  carbonated soft drinks, juices, or packaged water lines.

• Familiarity with automation, SCADA/PLC systems in production.
  
• Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  
• Leadership and team management skills.
  
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  
• Knowledge of

  FSSAI regulations, HACCP, ISO, and GMP standards.
