Job Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring production targets are met efficiently, safely, and within quality standards. This role involves managing resources, planning production schedules, supervising staff, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage the daily production activities.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of production staff.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure machinery and equipment are working efficiently.
• Implement cost control measures and waste reduction strategies.
• Maintain accurate production reports and records.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with quality control, procurement, and logistics departments.
• Train and develop production team members to improve performance and skills.
• Identify areas of improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Post graduation (preferred MBA), MSC,MCOM,MCA
• Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in a production or manufacturing supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of production management, quality control, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
