Production Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee

  daily shop floor operations

  including machining, assembly, and inspection processes.
  
• Manage

  production schedules

  , manpower allocation, and resource planning to meet targets.
  
• Ensure adherence to

  quality standards (ISO 9001 / AS9100)

  , safety protocols, and delivery timelines.
  
• Monitor and improve

  OEE, productivity, and cost-efficiency

  across production units.
  
• Collaborate with design, planning, quality, and procurement teams to resolve production issues.
  
• Lead and motivate the production team to achieve performance KPIs and continuous improvement.
  
• Conduct root cause analysis for delays, non-conformances, or rework, and implement corrective actions.
  
• Drive

  Lean manufacturing practices, 5S implementation, and waste reduction initiatives

  .
  
• Generate and maintain accurate

  production reports, logs, and MIS data

  for senior management.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• 8 to 12 years of experience in a

  manufacturing/precision engineering environment

  , preferably aerospace or automotive.
  
• Strong understanding of

  machining, assembly, and quality control

  processes.
  
• Hands-on experience in managing shop floor teams, machines, and production KPIs.
  
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
  
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
