You should have hands-on experience in Catia NC toolpath generation for 3, 4 & 5 axis machines, particularly for aerospace structural components. Additionally, you must possess experience in Vericut NC simulation & error rectification. It would be beneficial if you also have experience in NC Setup planning & Fixture design. Moreover, familiarity with NC process optimization & cycle time reduction is preferred in this role. It is essential to have knowledge of cutting tools, holders, and machining parameters while also being able to read & interpret engineering drawings & Condition of supply data. Role & responsibilities Oversee daily shop floor operations including machining, assembly, and inspection processes. Manage production schedules , manpower allocation, and resource planning to meet targets. Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO 9001 / AS9100) , safety protocols, and delivery timelines. Monitor and improve OEE, productivity, and cost-efficiency across production units. Collaborate with design, planning, quality, and procurement teams to resolve production issues. Lead and motivate the production team to achieve performance KPIs and continuous improvement. Conduct root cause analysis for delays, non-conformances, or rework, and implement corrective actions. Drive Lean manufacturing practices, 5S implementation, and waste reduction initiatives . Generate and maintain accurate production reports, logs, and MIS data for senior management. Preferred candidate profile 8 to 12 years of experience in a manufacturing/precision engineering environment , preferably aerospace or automotive. Strong understanding of machining, assembly, and quality control processes. Hands-on experience in managing shop floor teams, machines, and production KPIs.
