The Production Manager will lead the end-to-end execution of all shoots  from concept to delivery  including photo shoots, digital films, outdoor campaigns (hoardings), and social media content. This role demands hands-on experience in production planning, vendor and talent coordination, and a sharp eye for detail, ensuring every output meets creative and quality standards while staying on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
-  Shoot Planning & Execution
- Translate creative briefs into executable production plans.
- Manage and execute shoots for hoardings, digital campaign and DVC from concept to delivery.
- Execute photo, video, and outdoor shoots  from pre-production to post.
- Manage shoot logistics  locations, permissions, talent, crew, set design, art direction, and schedules.
- Ensure brand and creative intent is retained through every execution.
-  Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare, review, and finalize production budgets for each campaign.
- Negotiate with vendors, freelancers, and talent agencies to optimize cost.
- Maintain cost transparency and ensure every production stays within approved limits.
- Track cost vs output and submit post-shoot cost reports.
-  Vendor & Team Management
- Build and manage a pool of reliable vendors, directors, photographers, stylists, editors, and post-production partners.
- Manage in-house production.
- Manage casting vendors and freelance models/actors for campaign shoots.
- Have strong working knowledge of studio setup and lighting arrangements (indoor and outdoor).
- Evaluate vendor quality, timelines, and consistency through regular feedback cycles.
-  Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with the Creative Director and Art/Copy leads to ensure production outcomes match creative vision.
- Collaborate with Account Management to align on timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
- Provide creative production inputs  new styles, formats, techniques, and references to elevate output.
-  Operational Efficiency
- Create structured production workflows for both mainline and digital content.
- Assess the right type of equipment (camera, lighting, lenses, rigs, etc.) required for each shoot, balancing quality with cost-efficiency.
- Decide when to rent vs. use in-house equipment, maintaining accountability for all agency-owned production assets.
- Maintain shoot trackers, timelines, and production calendars.
- Ensure timely delivery of final assets (DVCs, OOH artworks, cutdowns, adaptations).
- Build a robust file management and rights documentation system.
-  Quality & Compliance
- Ensure quality control at every stage  lighting, framing, art, finishing.
- Manage legal and compliance documentation  contracts, NDAs, usage rights, permissions, and releases.
- Maintain safety and ethical standards during all on-ground shoots.
 
Qualifications & Experience
- 812 years of production experience in an advertising agency or production house, handling photo + film shoots for OOH, digital campaigns, and DVCs.
- Proven experience managing 360 shoots  from pre-production planning to on-set coordination and post delivery.
- Expertise in studio setup, lighting design, and production logistics.
- Strong vendor and crew network in Gujarat/Mumbai region (directors, cinematographers, production designers, editors).
- Sound knowledge of camera setups, lighting, post-production formats, and modern content trends.
- Excellent budget management, negotiation, and scheduling skills.
- Strong team leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with digital-first content needs (reels, YouTube, cutdowns, ad placements).
