Production Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facility. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the production process. 2. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor production staff to enhance productivity and morale. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs. 3. Quality Control: Establish and maintain quality control standards for all products. Implement procedures for testing and inspecting raw materials and finished products. Address and resolve any quality issues promptly. 4. Process Optimization: Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement lean manufacturing techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance. 5. Budget Management: Develop and manage the factory budget, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency. Evaluate and approve purchases of materials, equipment, and supplies. 6. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and environmental standards. Promote a culture of safety by conducting regular training and safety audits. Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. 7. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including R&D, sales, and logistics, to coordinate production and meet customer needs. Communicate effectively with senior management regarding production status, challenges, and opportunities Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the construction chemicals or related industry. Strong knowledge of chemical processes and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in a relevant field. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
