Production Manager

You are a dynamic and experienced Production Manager who will oversee the drone assembly line operations at AVPL International (AITMC Ventures Ltd.). Your strong technical expertise in UAV assembly and hands-on leadership skills will ensure streamlined, safe, and quality-driven production workflows. **Key Responsibilities:** - Supervise and manage daily drone assembly line operations. - Lead a team of operators, technicians, and assembly supervisors to meet production targets. - Execute production plans while ensuring adherence to timelines, cost, and quality parameters. - Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency. - Monitor quality checks to ensure each drone meets safety and performance standards. - Train new production staff in drone assembly techniques and safety protocols (ESD, handling, etc.). - Coordinate with procurement, design, and QA teams to ensure uninterrupted production. - Track production metrics including daily output, rework, waste, and downtime. - Maintain compliance with workplace safety standards and enforce 5S practices. **Qualifications & Skills:** - Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or related disciplines. - DGCA-approved QA certification. - 5-8 years of experience in UAV or electronics-based production environments. - 5-8 years of experience in team management. - Conversant in Documentation compliance in line with DGCA Norms. - Well acquainted with OSHA, Industrial safety, PPE. - Well acquainted with labor laws including outsourced manpower. - Hands-on experience with assembly tools and jigs, soldering, ESD-safe workstations, calibration & pre-flight testing, production, and inventory tracking tools or ERP systems. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Awareness of DGCA compliance and drone certification protocols. - Understanding of BOM structures, technical drawings, and build documentation. - Prior experience in electronics or drone-related mass production environments. - Qualified drone pilot.
