Job Description

About the role: We’re looking for a hands-on Production Manager to run day-to-day operations at our small agrochemical plant. You’ll keep batches on spec, lines running smoothly, and people safe—while jumping in on mechanical issues when needed.

What you’ll do:

Plan and run daily production
Hit output, quality, and cost targets; track basic KPIs
Troubleshoot mechanical problems on equipment and utilities (pumps, mixers, sfd, centrifuges , compressors, boilers)
Maintain SOPs and ensure EHS compliance (PPE, permits, housekeeping)
Coordinate with maintenance, QA/QC, procurement, and logistics
Manage shift teams, training, and scheduling
Keep inventory of raw/pack materials in check; reduce downtime and wastage

What you’ll need:

5–8+ years in chemical/agrochemical manufacturing; small-plant experience is a plus
Strong technical and mechanical know-how; comfortable with hands-on troubleshooting
Good grasp of batch operations, P&IDs, utilities, and basic automation
Safety-first mindset; familiar with EHS practices and MSDS handling
Solid people skills and clear communication; basic Excel/reporting

Nice to have:

Degree/Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical/Production
Exposure to ISO, process safety, and preventive maintenance systems

Details:

Full-time, on-site; shift coverage as needed
Reporting to Plant Head/Operations Manager/Director

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
