Key Learning Areas

Interns will be assigned to one of the core production units and work under the guidance of experienced engineers.

1. GI Wire Manufacturing Unit

• Wire Drawing & Galvanizing: Learn the process of reducing wire diameter, annealing, and hot-dip galvanizing.
• Quality Control (QC): Test tensile strength, elongation, and zinc coating uniformity using lab instruments.
• Process Improvement: Participate in projects to reduce wire breaks, optimize coil-handling logistics, and enhance stranding machine efficiency.

2. Zinc Oxide Manufacturing Unit

• French Process Operation: Observe zinc vaporization, oxidation, and collection processes.
• Quality Control & Testing: Conduct particle size and chemical analysis ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., White Seal grade).
• Waste & Efficiency Management: Work on optimizing furnace efficiency, raw material control, and reducing byproducts.
