Production Intern

Job Description:-

A production trainee is an entry-level role in manufacturing that involves learning and assisting with all aspects of the production process, from assembling products to ensuring quality and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Key responsibilities include following standard operating procedures, tracking production data, and collaborating with the team to meet production targets under the guidance of senior staff.

· Assist with production: Support day-to-day production activities like assembly, production operation, packaging, and material handling.

· Ensure quality: Monitor production processes, check product quality, and report any defects or deviations from standards.

· Maintain safety and cleanliness: Follow all safety guidelines, use personal protective equipment (PPE), keep the workspace clean, and handle waste properly.

· Manage records and reporting: Maintain production logs, record data like output counts and defects, and submit reports to supervisors.

· Collaborate with teams: Work closely with production staff, supervisors, and quality control teams to achieve daily goals.

· Participate in improvement initiatives: Engage in continuous improvement activities like 5S and lean manufacturing to help reduce waste and improve efficiency.

· Technical skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), computer skills ( VLOOKUP & Pivot Table) Mandatory, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment are often needed.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
