The ideal candidate will be a highly driven, strategic thinker with deep industry experience and a strong track record of driving aggressive revenue growth. This is a leadership position that demands hands-on execution, cross-functional collaboration, and high-performance team building. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement aggressive sales strategies to expand market share for VRLA and Li-ion batteries across India. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a geographically distributed sales team; establish KPIs, performance metrics, and a result-oriented culture. Business Development: Identify and grow strategic customer accounts in sectors like telecom, solar, power backup, railways, infrastructure, defense, and government. Revenue Growth: Take full ownership of achieving sales targets, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Channel Development: Expand and strengthen the dealer/distributor network across key regions; oversee onboarding, training, and channel performance. Government & Institutional Sales: Oversee government tender participation, GeM sales, and large institutional business opportunities. Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, pricing, and technology trends; provide insights to refine product and sales strategies. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, production, logistics, and marketing to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction. Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain detailed reporting on sales performance, pipeline health, customer feedback, and territory-wise opportunities.
