Production Head- Wedding Decor

As the Production Head at Devika Sakhuja Designs, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing all production aspects of wedding dcor events. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the production and operations team to execute dcor projects seamlessly and efficiently. - Translating design plans into actionable production workflows, timelines, and resource plans. - Coordinating with the creative team to understand design intent and ensure fidelity in execution. - Supervising on-site setup, installations, and dismantling of dcor elements, ensuring timely delivery and quality control. - Managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing procurement of materials and rentals. - Creating detailed event production schedules and allocating manpower and equipment accordingly. - Monitoring budgets, minimizing wastage, and ensuring cost-effective production. - Ensuring all dcor elements are built, transported, and installed in compliance with safety and quality standards. - Troubleshooting any operational challenges during events in real-time. - Maintaining an inventory of props, materials, and reusable dcor items. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of experience in event production, set design, or large-scale installations (wedding/event industry preferred). - Strong leadership and team management capabilities. - Proven track record in managing high-pressure, deadline-sensitive projects. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to read technical drawings, layouts, and production plans. - Knowledge of materials, fabrication processes, and stage/set construction techniques. - Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience. - Flexibility to travel and work evenings/weekends as per event schedules. - Physical stamina to oversee setup and on-ground operations.
