Production Head- Wedding Decor

As the Production Head at Devika Sakhuja Designs, a leading wedding dcor company in New Delhi, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing all production aspects of wedding dcor events. Your responsibilities will include leading the production and operations team, translating design plans into actionable production workflows, coordinating with the creative team, managing vendor relationships, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will also troubleshoot operational challenges during events and maintain an inventory of props and materials. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the production and operations team to execute dcor projects seamlessly and efficiently. - Translate design plans into actionable production workflows, timelines, and resource plans. - Coordinate with the creative team to understand design intent and ensure fidelity in execution. - Supervise on-site setup, installations, and dismantling of dcor elements, ensuring timely delivery and quality control. - Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement of materials and rentals. - Create detailed event production schedules and allocate manpower and equipment accordingly. - Monitor budgets, minimize wastage, and ensure cost-effective production. - Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the construction and installation of dcor elements. - Troubleshoot any operational challenges during events in real-time. - Maintain an inventory of props, materials, and reusable dcor items. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in event production, set design, or large-scale installations (wedding/event industry preferred). - Strong leadership and team management capabilities. - Proven track record in managing high-pressure, deadline-sensitive projects. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to read technical drawings, layouts, and production plans. - Knowledge of materials, fabrication processes, and stage/set construction techniques. - Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience. - Flexibility to travel and work evenings/weekends as per event schedules. - Physical stamina to oversee setup and on-ground operations.
