Production Head

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Production Head to oversee the end-to-end production operations at our foundry. The role requires strong expertise in ductile iron casting processes, manpower management, and ensuring high-quality output while meeting production targets.

Location – Uluberia, Howrah (West Bengal)

Experience – 8+ years

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage day-to-day foundry operations for ductile iron casting.

· Plan and execute production schedules to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.

· Monitor and control all stages of production – melting, moulding, core making, fettling, and machining.

· Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards across the plant.

· Optimize resource utilization (manpower, materials, and machines).

· Drive process improvements and adopt best practices in foundry technology.

· Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth workflow.

· Train, mentor, and motivate shop floor teams for higher efficiency.

· Report production KPIs, challenges, and improvement plans to management.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering.

· Experience: 8+ years in foundry operations (preferably ductile iron).

· Strong knowledge of melting, moulding, sand systems, and quality parameters in ductile iron casting.

· Proven track record of leading production teams and meeting operational goals.

· Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
