Production Head Junction Boxes

As a skilled and proactive Production Head, you will be responsible for leading the manufacturing operations for Junction Boxes (JBs) on a semi-automatic/automatic assembly line. Your role will involve hands-on experience in the manufacture of electrical or electronic assemblies, with a preference for the automotive or electronics industry. You will need to focus on production planning, people management, and maintaining quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage daily production operations for junction box assemblies on semi-automatic and automatic lines. - Plan and schedule production activities to achieve output targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines. - Optimize manpower, materials, and machine utilization to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. - Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality. - Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and cost-reduction strategies. - Monitor equipment maintenance to ensure smooth functioning of production lines. - Implement lean manufacturing practices and promote continuous improvement. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies. - Coordinate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and R&D for operational efficiency. - Train, mentor, and manage shop floor teams to improve productivity and accountability. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering. - 8-10 years of experience in electrical/electronic assembly production, preferably in automotive or electronics industries. - Strong understanding of assembly line operations, lean manufacturing, and 5S practices. - Proven ability to manage large teams, production KPIs, and shop floor operations. - Familiarity with semi-automatic and automatic assembly technologies. - Knowledge of ERP systems and production reporting tools. - Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
