Production Head – Junction Boxes Location: Gurugram Experience: 8–10 Years Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Engineering Industry: Electrical / Electronics / Automotive Manufacturing Compensation: ₹8 – ₹12 LPA Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and proactive Production Head to lead the manufacturing operations for Junction Boxes (JBs) on a semi-automatic/automatic assembly line. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of hands-on experience in the manufacture of electrical or electronic assemblies , preferably within the automotive or electronics industry . This role requires strong production planning, people management, and quality focus. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage daily production operations for junction box assemblies on semi-automatic and automatic lines. Plan and schedule production activities to meet output targets, quality standards , and delivery timelines. Optimize manpower, materials, and machine utilization to ensure efficiency and reduce downtime. Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures , ensuring consistent product quality. Drive process improvements , automation initiatives, and cost-reduction strategies. Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure smooth functioning of production lines. Implement lean manufacturing practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies. Coordinate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and R&D for smooth operational flow. Train, mentor, and manage shop floor teams to enhance productivity and accountability. Requirements: B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering. 8–10 years of experience in electrical/electronic assembly production , ideally in automotive or electronics industries. Strong understanding of assembly line operations , lean manufacturing , and 5S practices . Proven ability to manage large teams , production KPIs, and shop floor operations. Familiarity with semi-automatic and automatic assembly technologies . Knowledge of ERP systems and production reporting tools. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
