Production Head - HPDC

The Plant Head - Production - HPDC position for our client, a major automotive & industrial product manufacturer, requires a candidate with relevant experience. The ideal candidate should have expertise in HPDC Die Casting & Machine Shop, as well as Powder Coating. Strong knowledge of die casting, quality standards, plant maintenance, and machine shop tooling is essential for this role. It is crucial to ensure that the process/method of die casting operation is properly set and followed in accordance with IATF 16949, EHS, QMS standards, and their documentations. In addition to technical expertise in machinery and maintenance, the candidate should possess a strong understanding of CNC/VMC maintenance and spare parts management. Exposure to Lean Manufacturing practices is preferred. The Plant Head will be responsible for calculating and analyzing furnace oil efficiency, providing solutions for production and maintenance issues, and analyzing past data of production capacities to address deviations with customers. Leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Maintenance Management Software is required. The Plant Head must ensure the minimum sufficient inventory to address demand fluctuations and uphold safety and quality compliance across operations. Collaboration with HR to identify and enhance the competencies of team members is necessary for their growth and development. The candidate should hold a DME/BE-Mechanical degree and have 15 to 20 years of experience in production, specifically in HPDC.
