Role & responsibilities

1. Directly handling production functions such as daily planning versus actual performance, productivity monitoring, process validation, tooling requirements (including jaws, jigs, fixtures), and conducting machining trials.

2. Possess maintenance knowledge and experience in maintenance data management, along with ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

3. Skilled in training and developing the workforce to enhance operational efficiency and skill levels.

4. Should have experience working in a unit equipped with various types of machines such as Turning, Turn-Mill, VMC, VTL, HMC, and 4- & 5-axis machines.

5. Possess strong exposure to sectors such as Oil & Gas, Aerospace, and related industries.

6. Proficient in planning materials and tooling requirements well in advance to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production operations.

7. Responsible for training and developing subordinates on process and product documentation, in-process rejection analysis, rejection reduction, and quality awareness through evaluation of skill matrices for operators and supervisors.

8. Focused on achieving 100% production and productivity targets, and delivering zero-defect products to the customer.

9. Responsible for organising material, equipment, and tooling requirements in alignment with the production plan.

10. Prepared and analysed statistical reports and coordinated information with the CFT team.

11. Responsible for providing guidelines to production workers on 5S implementation on the shop floor, ensuring qualitative performance, and conducting timely performance checks.

12. Ensure delivery of defect-free products to the customer.

13. Plan and implement preventive maintenance for various machines and equipment to enhance machine reliability

14. Communicate with stores and the purchasing department regarding material-related issues.

15. Handle ISO audits for plant monitoring and prepare the necessary documentation.

16. Actively participate in productivity improvements, loss reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead a team of manufacturing engineers effectively by implementing advanced tooling, holding devices, and tool path creation to achieve competitive machining costs while maintaining consistent quality

Manpower management:

1. Apply HR principles and PR policies as needed.

2. Effectively lead SGA, TPM, Kaizen, and 5S teams.

3. Should possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to identify potential talents and effectively train personnel.
