Production Executive - Pharmaceutical Industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily production plans as per approved batch manufacturing records (BMR/BPR).
• Supervise manufacturing activities of Ayurvedic formulations (tablets, syrups, churnas, oils, capsules, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with GMP, AYUSH, and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor process parameters to ensure product quality and yield.
• Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams for in-process checks.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, logbooks, and batch records.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of raw materials and finished goods.
• Monitor equipment operation, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
• Implement safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.
• Identify and report deviations, breakdowns, or quality issues promptly.
• Support audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
• Assist in continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives.
• Train and guide production operators and helpers.

Qualifications:

• B.Pharm (Ayurveda) / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry, Botany, or related field)
• Diploma or certification in GMP or pharmaceutical production is an added advantage.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in Ayurvedic or Herbal Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
• Freshers with relevant training may also be considered

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of Ayurvedic formulations and manufacturing processes
• Understanding of GMP, AYUSH regulations, and documentation practices
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems preferred)

Location:

• POR G.I.D.C., Ramangamdi, Vadodara.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
