Job Description

Hello,

Job Title: Production Manager Fabrication & Assembly Shop

Location:

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly production schedules.
Ensure timely availability of materials, drawings, and manpower.
Monitor shop floor activities, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety norms.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for smooth workflow.
Maintain quality standards, minimize rework/rejections, and support inspections.
Manage manpower allocation, machine maintenance, and consumables usage.
Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Track KPIs: on-time delivery, quality acceptance, efficiency, wastage, safety.

Qualifications:

Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
710 years experience in fabrication & assembly shop management (preferably conveyors/heavy fabrication).
Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of welding, fabrication techniques, quality standards, and ERP tools.
