Production Engineer

As a Production Engineer in our esteemed organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication, welding, and quality systems. With a minimum of 8-10 years of experience, we are seeking a dedicated individual who excels in hands-on shop floor operations and possesses a profound technical knowledge of the fabrication lifecycle. The ideal candidate for this role is not confined to a desk but thrives on the production floor. You will be expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of welding processes, particularly GTAW and GMAW, along with proficiency in interpreting welding symbols, weld joint types, and technical drawings. Moreover, practical experience in fabrication production processes is essential, complemented by a sound comprehension of ISO 9001:2015 standards and their implementation in a production setting. Your role will require familiarity with WPS, PQR, WPQ, and their application in day-to-day operations, as well as awareness of international fabrication standards such as ASME, AWS D1.1, and NDT Level II knowledge. Experience in identifying and managing non-conformances, coupled with a history of addressing real-world production challenges on the shop floor, will be advantageous. Additionally, exposure to ERP systems for production tracking and planning, a strong grasp of EHS best practices, and effective communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills are crucial for success in this position.
