Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for increasing efficiency and product quality.
Design and implement new production processes and systems, including the selection of appropriate machinery and technology.
Coordinate with product development teams to facilitate the transition from product design to manufacturing, ensuring manufacturability and scalability.
Monitor production performance metrics and adjust processes to meet production targets and quality standards.
Perform root cause analysis on production issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Maintain documentation of production processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control standards.
Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure that machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition, scheduling repairs and preventative maintenance as necessary.
Train and mentor production staff on best practices, safety protocols, and process improvements.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure that raw materials and components are available as needed for production runs.
Evaluate and assess vendor capabilities and material quality to maintain standards of excellence in production inputs.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and workplace safety standards, addressing any non-compliance issues promptly.
