Production Designer

We are a luxury boutique specializing in customized bridal and couture wear, known for intricate craftsmanship, premium fabrics, and personalized designs. We are looking for a Production Designer who can bridge the gap between creativity and execution, ensuring every bridal outfit is delivered with perfection and on time.

Role Purpose

The Production Designer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the production process of customized bridal wear. This includes tailoring, embroidery, finishing, and quality control, while ensuring client deadlines and boutique standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage production schedules for all client orders.
• Coordinate between designers, tailoring team, embroidery artisans, and finishing staff.
• Translate design sketches into production-ready plans with clear instructions.
• Monitor work progress daily and resolve bottlenecks or delays.
• Conduct quality checks at each stage (stitching, embroidery, finishing).
• Maintain order tracking sheets (Google Sheets/Excel).
• Liaise with clients for fittings, alterations, and delivery updates when required.
• Ensure smooth workflow during peak wedding seasons.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in bridal/occasion wear production preferred.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and embroidery techniques.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage artisans (karigars) and ensure timely work.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel (basic reporting & planning).
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under deadlines.
