Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Production Associate/Assistant specialized in Continental and Bakery Cuisines to join our production team in Siliguri. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, precision, and dedication, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a professional bakery or continental kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, baking, and finishing of bakery products, breads, pastries, cakes, and continental dishes.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality in line with Flurys’ standards.
  • Support the Head Chef/Production Manager in daily production activities.
  • Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
  • Accurately measure and mix ingredients following established recipes and processes.
  • Assist in menu development and trials for new bakery and continental products.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist in inventory management, and minimize wastage.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely order fulfillment.
  • Stay updated with new trends in continental cuisine and bakery innovations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a bakery, patisserie, or continental kitchen.
  • Proven expertise in continental food preparation and bakery products.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, pastry making, and continental culinary practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
  • Attention to detail with a passion for food quality and presentation.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts as per operational requirements.

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or Bakery & Confectionery from a recognized institute preferred.
  • Professional certifications in Bakery/Continental cuisine will be an added advantage.
