Production Assistant

Job Summary:

The Production Assistant supports the manufacturing team in the assembly and production of PCBA and devices. This role requires proficiency in soldering and a basic understanding of electronics manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly and Soldering:

• Perform hand soldering of SMD and PTH electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) following detailed instructions and standards
• Assemble electronic devices and components as per production requirements.
• Inspect solder joints and assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards IPC 610
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of soldering equipment and tools.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor for timely resolution.

Support Production Operations:

• Assist in setting up workstations and preparing materials for production runs.
• Follow work instructions and production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks like testing integration and packing
• Record production data and maintain accurate documentation.

Quality Control:

• Conduct visual inspections of soldered connections and assembled products.
• Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in the production process.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronics manufacturing with hands-on soldering skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in hand soldering techniques for electronic components.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components and assembly processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
