Role Description

The Production & Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities

Production Management:

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly

  production plans

  to meet demand and optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Deliver

  targeted production volumes

  with consistency in yield and minimal wastage.
• Monitor plant performance (downtime, throughput, efficiency) and implement corrective actions for improvement.
• Ensure smooth coordination between

  supply chain, procurement, and dispatch

  teams for uninterrupted operations.

Quality Assurance

• Implement

  SOPs and quality checkpoints

  across raw material inspection, in-process controls, and finished goods evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with

  FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, GMP

  standards and maintain audit readiness at all times.
• Lead

  investigation and resolution

  of quality complaints, ensuring corrective & preventive action (CAPA).
• Drive

  continuous improvement

  in baking, mixing, packaging, and storage processes to achieve consistency and safety.

People & Process Leadership

• Train and supervise production & QA teams on food safety, hygiene, and best manufacturing practices.
• Build a

  culture of accountability and discipline

  on the shop floor.
• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with founders, operations, and R&D for alignment on product and business goals.
