The founders have over 45+ years of combined experience and have handled large businesses at CXO level in large Multinational and India companies Role Description The Production & Quality Manager at Nutrisum will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production planning, execution, and quality management . This role ensures that all products are manufactured safely, efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards , aligned with Nutrisum's mission of providing healthier everyday food choices. Position : Production & Quality Manager Educational Qualification: BTech/M Tech Food Technology or equivalent Location: Navi Mumbai Experience : 4 to 7 years in FMCG food Industry Key Responsibilities Production Management: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production plans to meet demand and optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials. Deliver targeted production volumes with consistency in yield and minimal wastage. Monitor plant performance (downtime, throughput, efficiency) and implement corrective actions for improvement. Ensure smooth coordination between supply chain, procurement, and dispatch teams for uninterrupted operations. Quality Assurance Implement SOPs and quality checkpoints across raw material inspection, in-process controls, and finished goods evaluation. Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, GMP standards and maintain audit readiness at all times. Lead investigation and resolution of quality complaints, ensuring corrective & preventive action (CAPA). Drive continuous improvement in baking, mixing, packaging, and storage processes to achieve consistency and safety. People & Process Leadership Train and supervise production & QA teams on food safety, hygiene, and best manufacturing practices. Build a culture of accountability and discipline on the shop floor. Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with founders, operations, and R&D for alignment on product and business goals.
