Job Role & Responsibilities

Role:

Product Validation Engineer

Technical/ Functional:

Develop comprehensive test plans and protocols based on product specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Coordinate and conduct validation tests on vehicle components, systems, and assemblies, including but not limited to durability, electrical, and functional testing.
Utilize test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition tools to collect and analyse test data effectively.
Identify, document, and report any issues or anomalies discovered during validation testing
Collaborate with design and development teams to implement corrective actions.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and failure mode analysis to identify potential areas of concern and ensure proactive mitigation strategies.
Maintain test equipment, facilities, and documentation in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with CFT, suppliers, vendors, and external testing agencies to ensure timely completion of validation activities and adherence to project timelines.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to automotive validation testing, and make recommendations for process improvements and innovation
Shall have strong domain knowledge in Electronics and other engineering principles
