Product Validation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Technical/Functional

• Design and optimize

  motor controllers, DC-DC converters (buck, boost, flyback, forward, LLC resonant), VCU, BMS, and chargers

  .
• Develop inverter power stages (2-level, 3-level, multilevel) using

  MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC/GaN devices

  .
• Optimize

  gate driver circuits, dead-time control, and protection mechanisms

  for safe and efficient switching.
• Conduct

  stability analysis, loop compensation, and transient response testing

  for closed-loop converters.
• Ensure

  high power density, efficiency optimization, EMI/EMC mitigation

  and thermal management.
• Design

  multi-layer PCBs

  ensuring creepage/clearance compliance, minimal parasitics, and optimized switching.
• Perform

  WCCA, DFMEA, FMECA, hardware safety analysis

  and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.
• Conduct simulations (signal/power integrity, thermal, stress analysis) using industry tools (LTSpice, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, Ansys Maxwell, etc.).
  
• Drive

  DFM, DFA, DFT

  principles into design to enable scalability and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on validation, ensuring alignment with standards like

  ISO 26262, CISPR, and automotive product development processes

  .
• Lead

  design reviews, technical documentation, and peer reviews

  , ensuring first-time-right designs.

Technical Expertise

• Strong fundamentals in

  analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics design

  .
• Knowledge of

  automotive standards

  : ISO 26262 (functional safety), CISPR (EMC compliance).
• Deep understanding of

  DFSS methodology

  , reliability engineering, and validation frameworks.
• Experience in

  validation testing

  (durability, functional, environmental, electrical, and system-level).
• Hands-on expertise with

  oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum/network analyzers, DAQ systems, environmental chambers

  .
• Proficiency in

  simulation & modeling tools

  (SIMetrix, LTSpice, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, Ansys Maxwell, PSIM).
• Strong knowledge of

  thermal management, signal & power integrity, and EMC design

  .
• Excellent problem-solving and

  attention-to-detail
