Product Sustainability Expert

You will play a vital role in developing and implementing a comprehensive sustainability strategy for products at KSB. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting the implementation of international sustainability guidelines in product development processes and sales channels. - Contributing to the development of group-wide sustainability standards and effectively representing these standards to internal and external stakeholders. - Participating in defining sustainability goals, developing corresponding sustainability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and monitoring KPI achievement group-wide. - Assisting management in strategically positioning sustainability and compliance in the KSB business model and corporate culture. - Collaborating with product development, production, and procurement teams to integrate sustainable practices. - Identifying and assessing sustainability and compliance risks and opportunities. - Raising awareness of sustainability issues and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Environmental Science or Diploma in Engineering / Environmental Science. - Professional experience of at least 5 years for Bachelor's degree holders and at least 10 years for Diploma holders. - Initial professional experience in product development. - Genuine interest in product sustainability and compliance topics. - Positive mindset, assertive, and persuasive nature. - Strong analytical skills and problem-solving competence. - Proficient communication skills in English; basic knowledge of the German language is preferred.,
