Job Description

  • The responsibilities in this role are dual-focused.

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Market research and analysis: Evaluating trends, brand awareness, and competitive ventures.
  • Campaign coordination: Assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and managing marketing collateral.
  • Digital platform management: Managing content on websites, social media, and email systems.
  • Lead generation: Promoting the company s software products to new and existing clients, sometimes involving direct sales or one-to-one communication.
  • CRM Management: Using Customer Relationship Management software to track customer interactions and data.
  • Reporting: Monitoring and reporting on campaign performance and customer feedback to inform product development and strategy.

Software Support Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving software-related issues reported by internal teams or external clients through phone, email, or chat.
  • Installation and configuration: Assisting clients with the installation, configuration, and explanation of software products.
  • On-site training/demos: Providing training and demonstrations of the software to users when required.
  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Escalation and collaboration: Working with senior engineers or development teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.

Essential Skills

  • To succeed in this hybrid role, you typically need a blend of technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Communication Skills: Essential for explaining technical information to non-technical users and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office, marketing software (eg, CRM systems), diagnostic tools, and the specific software product the company offers.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to methodically analyze data and pinpoint the root cause of issues, whether technical or related to campaign performance.
