Product Specialist

Role Overview: Ascensia Diabetes Care, a global specialist diabetes care company, is dedicated to empowering people living with diabetes through innovative solutions. As a Product Specialist, your responsibility will be to promote and secure support for Ascensia Diabetes Care products from Healthcare professionals, Retail Pharmacies, Modern stores, and Institutions in Chandigarh. You will play a crucial role in driving sales and increasing the acceptance of Self-Monitoring Blood Glucose (SMBG) products. Key Responsibilities: - Drive sales by extensively covering chemists and hospitals in your designated area - Develop and execute effective sales strategies to maximize Share of Market (SOM) in the chemist channel - Generate leads from healthcare professionals and retail outlets, maintain existing institutional relationships, and establish new ones to enhance product acceptance - Promote Ascensia Diabetes Care products to target customers, acquire new customers, and ensure continued support from existing customers - Plan and implement marketing programs such as Key Opinion Leader (KOL) centric activities, detection camps, nurses" education, product awareness camps, and shop merchandising in key customer accounts Qualifications Required: - Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Science/Pharmacy - Bachelor or Master's Degree in Marketing will be an advantage - 3-5 years of experience in Healthcare/OTC/Pharma companies/Surgical Additional Details: Ascensia's values, including Resilient Growth Mindset, Executional Excellence, Courageous Leadership, and Inclusive Collaboration, form the foundation of the organization.
